neat saw. i have seen them referenced here. maybe mark will be along later to shed some more light. i think that the batteries are still available. for that price, i would be all over it just to add it to the collection.
 
McCulloch had a 3-10E, 5-10E and 10-10E. They were electric start from a battery pack. You can have new batteries installed from a store such as Batteries Plus. I have some 3-10E and 10-10E saws.

Wayne, If anybody on here can fix you up with the battery info,it's going to be BillG,see post above.
Does this saw also charge the battery as it runs or does it have a separate charger (or maybe both)?On Acres site it looks like the battery is in a flat pack housing,I don't see it on the saw you bought.Talk to Bill about it.
