EPA Husqvarnas

What exactly is the difference between the EPA and Non EPA husqvarna saws? I am looking at the 346XP on Bailey's and i know they are all EPA versions. Are the EPA versions all that is available now? Are they less desirable saws? Thanks

The difference is a catalytic muffler has been added and "locked" mixture screws on carb.You can remove the"lock" on carb with a dremel,exacto,etc.Its only a plastic thing.the muffler has some kind of deflector inside thet dont affect performance,i think.Ive got 2 346 and well satisfied.
