Name your chain saw?

My newly ported 2100 is named BRUTUSIA (brut usia) She’s a female and is mean like a junk yard dog. My son started it a looked at me and shook his head.

One of my 562's is Althea, the other is Delilah (full wrap, double large dogs). The other two saws don't have names.

My old Sears 2.0 was named ##*!!!.

Back when my dad’s 372 was the largest saw I knew of she was christened “Big Bertha”. The name has stuck, but with 100+cc saws hanging around the name doesn’t quite fit anymore.

1 was "Blown"
Blown got straight gassed the very first time he was used. Boss had the cylinder bored. Ran the 6' bar on it.
"Stock" sported the 40" bar.

I have owned many a chainsaw. Only one I have ever named was my ms361. Named it Miss Daisy. Cuz running it was just like driving Miss Daisy. What a piece of junk! Talk about a saw that could not get out of its own way.

My 084 was pretty beat up when I got it so she is Ugly Betty.

I've never named any piece of my outdoor power equipment, but, I have called um names from time to time.

None of them start as easily as I would like.

I run an all Husqvarna fleet, so it's pretty rare, that I call them anything that I wouldn't say in front of my Mother in Law.

The only one that has a nick name that is used regularly is "Ol Reliable", my 266XP, that I bought new in '91, still a rippin saw.

my 55 Willy’s Jeep sits all summer, fires up all winter to plow snow. Her name is Christine like the movie she won’t die much better than the energizer bunny. I went to buy a snowblower and for $400 came home with her.
