Just finishing up my first season heating with an OWB and I'm trying to figure out what I need to improve for next year. You know, like a beer fridge next to the OWB, but on the side that cant be seen from the house...
The only thing that I can think of that I figure you guys can help me with is what you all use for the extension for your flue brush to clean the heat exchangers. After one season, the braided (stainless?) one that came with my P&M 250 looks more like a pretzel than a tool to clean an OWB. :bang:
I've been attaching it to my cordless drill to maximize cleaning while minimizing cleaning time, but when you figure in the time to straighten it out to make it useable I am left thinking there has to be a better way.
Is this normal and if so, what options are out there.
