I have a self pollinating cherry tree that I planted in the Fall just before the frost. Is there anything I should be doing to fertilize it now that it's spring? I have been trying to give it at least a gallon of water a day. It's still going down to the 30's at night so I don't think I should expect too much from it yet, but when should I expect to see some buds on the tree?
