First time of the season. Probably could have fired it up last night, but we went out instead.
Anyway, now that I have found this sight and the vast amounts of knowledge here, I got a couple questions.
1. How do I figure out what fire place brand I have? Im the third owner of this house, the original owner is the one that put in the fireplace and he has passed away. The guy I bought the house from had no idea.
There are no markings on the outside of the fireplace that I have seen.
2. There are two small (4") fans under than insert. It looks like I could add 6 more. I dont get much air movement with the fans on high altho I can tell a difference in how well it warms the room. Can I get a better blower that will push more air (and heat further into the room)? Would more air movement help? or just move cold air?
