Finger Ports???????

Is there a particular reason why you are not taking the lower intake side end of the open port to the bottom corner of the the lower transfer?

If I had to guess I would say he is tryin to retain some velocity, grinding all the way to the corner would lose more case compression

No need to. The whole side of the piston is open on the sides.

So Randy would you do 3120 or 880 for yourself if you needed a milling/stumping saw (ported of course)?

I have a lot of practice under my belt. The first ones I did were far from pretty.

I use a SE-51NF burr from RJ Supply.

I've not yet hacked any finger ports in but I'm gonna try a set after while. I forget what brand they are but I've bn using 1/4 inch double cut burs and just turn the shank down to fit my hand piece, last longer and way cheaper.
