took the pencle boxx off my bota in just a week after delivery. Made a pair of brackets and mounted a real tool box in its place.
Big 2 pound hammer for driving wedges in cuts, 4 wedges, a pipe wrench I use rather than fight with the 3 link adjustment, two 15 inch cresent wrenches (never know when you want to remove a spark plug on a poulan chain saw.)
a grab hook or a quick hitch hook depending on the mounted tool, a quart of bar oil a couple of spare saw chains, ratchet strap, Can't remember why I put that in there. and misc. pin shims and snap pins, and a gallon of saw mix.

Also mounted two J hooks I can put the hitch draw bar on when not in use

Yes there is seat clearance too.

Last mod I did was make mount for sledge hammer, log timber jack, the Husky splitting Maul double bit axe and misc. things with short handles that will fit in the 2" tube.

In the planing stage is logging chain tool holder in the lower loader frame, the hole behind the front tire.

Tired of fighting those turn buckles to hook up a three point tool I got a quick hitch.

Needed a place to carry some chain saws. I made 2 ROMP'S, carriers.took about a hour to make and install from scrap wood.
I have a pair of new ones in the works if I ever get another spare moment.

Nice mods. I tried the chain in the tube thing I turned some uhmv plastic to fit as big plugs and I barely got out of the garage and one side popped out in thinking would need to be a cover or maybe like a squeeze plug or somthing I also did the chainsaw holder but there straight up and down not sure I like that your idea on an angle is better

It’s a snow tractor right now.

Just got this one Thursday. 20HP diesel, 4X4, bush hog and grader box. Wanted a "Bota but could never drop the coin when I had it. My fishing buddy got this one when one of his renters had to bail out on him, with a $2500 security deposit. The guy told him to keep the tractor. For the past 4-5 years he has only used it once a month or so mowing a 3.5 acre building lot. It only reads 258 hours on the clock. My friend let me have it for $2000.

Here’s mine. 1987 ford 1220 2wd geared. Loaded the tires with used antifreeze and threw chains on it. It will drag anything I need to. If not I use the Allis charmers 180. The ford is nice cuz it’s just a little bigger than a four wheeler but built like a brick Siht house. And I got it for 250$ from the local scrap yard. It needed a tie rod end because when they pushed it off the trailer the tire caught a car sitting there. New battery and filters and oils and have been running it ever since I also mow my yard with a 60” finish mower and snowblow with a 5’ rear mount blower 6106BD28-ADBD-4226-8A65-F50A8F505CA7.jpeg83ECE362-4079-45ED-AFDB-C1338FD0D61D.jpeg Here is my 5 year old sons. 12hp hydro wheel horse again loaded tires and now has chains on it 0074E2E8-2BD7-4D38-B8A4-8A7027FB1EB6.jpeg

Yes sir, those little Japanese built Fords are nice. My 1700 is only 2wd, but it does a lot of work around the yard. Amazing someone was gonna scrap that 1220. Great find for you!

What Yanma is that one ?
That's a 2820D. It's a grey market tractor that has been updated to American safety standards. It has a 34hp diesel with a powershift transmission and 4 wheel drive.
