first burn

well Monday i cleaned out the chim. held off all week it was mid 50's outside and this morning Saturday its cold and raining. so the first burn is up and going. nothing better then wood heat on a sat. with nothing to do but relax and enjoy the warmth inside with the dog.

I love getting the season going and seeing my hardwork heating the house. By around February, it is getting more and more like work and I want to shut it down to preserve my woodpile.
