Force needed to pull flowering cherry tree root from under sidewalk.

Time to get rid of these trees before the root damage to sidewalk is worse.
Plan to pull tree over, choker around root ball, pull 2 big roots out from under sidewalk.
tree is 5 in diameter a foot off the ground, the roots slightly LARGER than the trunk.
Will a 6 ton winch pull the roots? Any experience with how much needed.
Have 4 and 6T winches, and logging blocks and 5/8 and 3/4" wire rope and 3 ft DBH D fir nearby for anchor point.

Seems to be some confusion on the size of the cherry tree. A 5" tree has two big roots under a sidewalk?

better get a snatch block just in case, sometimes its better to cut the root then pull from the other side of the side walk
