This is close to my home, I would love to see the scene, but the park is closed for the OSHA investigation, and I asume the tree will be long gone when reopened.

Tragic. I've been to that state forest, its a nice place with good folks. I would like to know more about what happened.

He was pushing a fallen tree with a dozer, I don't think he had any help at the time, the tree, I assume under great pressure, popped up over the blade and landed in his lap, he had a large puncture, but died from internal bleeding as when the ambulance got there there was little they could do in that situation. He was, as I feared, the man I knew of, young, with young children. I really hate writing this part as my 1 year old is across the hall taking a bath. I need to be more careful.

You need to be more careful too! You are never so experienced that you know everything that can go wrong.
