Just saw this and it seemed a shame to let it go to firewood. I already have plenty of oak, plus its a little far for me. Maybe someone closer would want it?

Free: 2 Large Oak Firewood Logs 8'x36"
Location: Mount Holly, NJ

We have 2 large oak logs (8'x 36") left in our yard after we had the trees taken down two months ago. Anyone is welcome to come and chop away at them (you will need a 20" or more chain saw) and take as much of the wood as they want. It would be excellent firewood and there are a few nice piece for anyone that does some serious woodworking or carving. Only Serious Inquires Please!

I too am up to my ears in oak at this point... if it was cherry I'd be there tomorrow after work. Not that I would have time... got too many logs on the burner now... but I'd be there anyway just to look and drool.
