Whoever wants it can call the guy!!! I'm out of saw money at the moment. I was hoping it would turn into a good find for someone.

Call him up!

I bought the saw on the Mar 20th. He never took the post down. I've never had a 28" bar before! Looks like the only saw I'll ever need. I have a 346ne to compliment it. I'll post pics soon.

THAT is funny. Saw money.

I saw a 460 for $325 and I was out of "saw money"and was going to alert the masses and it was sold.

p.s. you guys must be looking at the same CLs. I am just west of Danbury.

Be careful, I believe the early 575's had bearing or con rod problems.

Carefull, LOL, when was the last time you heard of trouble from one?

Seems they got fixed right off and they have not had any more trouble then any others since. If you ask me the 575XP was a most unfairly targeted saw while lots of other saws got breaks for there troubles.

The main problem was it was designed to replace the highly popular 372 at the time and it was one of the first strato saws. Time has proven them as far as I know.

I had one, used it alot and it was strong, strong, strong.

That's awesome! Thought I could help someone out by finding it and it's already in your collection! Very cool. Hope you enjoy it!

A buddy of mine just finished going through one, pretty nice looking saw. It brought pretty good money when he decided to sell it too. I havent touched a 575, but was pretty impressed with the 576 I ran.

It's a 2007 575xp. Hopefully, they figured out the rod by then. I think first year of production was 2005.

I have bought saws off of CL and sold them on Ebay. Can only make about $50 to $100 depending on the deal I get. I don't bother with "fair-priced" saws! HA! Such as the 576xp for sale in Putnam for $750. Probably a fair price, but too much for me to clean and flip.

Tommyus4, I saw that 460, but I try to stay away from models that they sell at Lowes. Not that he got it there. However, not to offend the past owner (if he's a member of AS) of a Husky 445 than I got a week or two ago dirt cheap. He took the chain brake off of the saw with the brake engaged and couldn't get it back on, so he sold the saw. It was an easy fix and I sold the saw on Ebay yesterday for more than double what I paid!

I'll bring the 575 to a GTG in CT whenever one comes up. I was hoping to go to usmarinekurt's until unfortunate events cancelled the event. Hope all is well usmarinekurt! I would host one, but here in West Hartford I have 5 trees and I'm not allowed to touch any of them!

Again, I'll post pics of the 575 soon.

They were introduced before 05. I'm thinking it was 02.

Here are the pics of the 575xp with 28" bar. I haven't touched it since I got it. I'll go through the whole thing and clean it from bar to handle. Should clean up nicely. Also have pics comparing it to the 346ne with 18" bar. Can't wait to try it out! No trees were harmed during this photo shoot.
