Been playing around in my off time. Found that 3/8 full chisel is just too aggressive.
Picked up a poulan 3315 with low pro chain and found it to be much more forgiving.
Me thinks that anti kick back chain seems to be best for carving wood. I don’t think I can get a low pro rim for the 550... so is there such a thing as anti kick back .325?

wondering if the curled over depth gauge would be better than the other type?

Any thoughts or information will be appreciated!!

*edit*i should mention that it’s the kick back that makes regular chain an issue. When it happens it grabs and tears out too large a chunk ton of notice
