I'm still good to go.
Going through some 'mag handled' saws to bring and trying to figure out how many saws I can reasonably fit in my car.
I've had a couple dozen in there but wouldn't want to do that with all 'good' saws.
Lee probably has multiples of any big stuff I can come up with anyway though and likely most of the small ones too.
I'll also bring some modded plastic stuff in hopes that some similar ones show up for some head to head comparison...

Bump for the Worlds Largest Gathering of 166 Dolmars & Largest collection of Muscle Saws in the world!

Hopefully the site will stay up long enough to allow the thread to continue to the GTG

Hoping to make it but the weather is messing everything up this week with work. Got a PM from millbilly asking if I was going. Got a few toys to bring. Won't really know till Friday night. Really like to make it up there.

Looking forward to this GTG and meeting a few new folks. Anxious to play with a few of my older saws.

Heading out there Saturday afternoon and staying near the coast. I'll be at Lee's bright and early Sunday.

The 166 with the broken fuel tank is back running again with a NOS tank, used flywheel, new decompression valve, and a fuel line. Probably the best sounding 166 with the euro style muffler!

Just set up one of my 920 Supers with a 28" bar, which is going to look like a limbing saw compared to all of the big iron you guys have.

Looks like we'll have great weather for the weekend too.

We were on the Cape Cod 2 weeks ago, great time of year to visit, many places are still open and minimal crowds and traffic to deal with.

Falmouth is a great area, plenty to do, see and eat.

The leaves are turning, temps are perfect for a GTG.

The fall festival for Barnstable County was in Falmouth at the County fairgrounds the weekend we left, we spent some time there, met up with some friends, good day.

To bad its not open Sundays, a little trip up the road to this place would have been a hit to many of you going to the GTG:

leeha............if you have room for my son and i, would like to make it there.

spent this afternoon getting a strunk (beaver) model running (chip flying ready) for the occasion. don't know the cc's, hope that if metal gas tank, 1/2" chain and about 25+ pounds dry, fit the bill......... i'd like to make some chips............ see some old saws running in wood...... and enjoy the day.

long trip....battling an ear infection. hoping my son will be around..... so i don't fall asleep on the way home.

if you don't have room...... i'll try to post some pictures of the saw. (have never tried since i joined the forum, oh well).

You and your son are more than welcome. Bring the ole
Strunk and make some chips. I would like to see it run.

Where are you located.

thanks lee.

central new york state........5 maybe 6 hours i think.

son hasn't called.... wife still thinks i'm nuts.

strunk is new to me, today actually. it might not be a beaver model but its def. a strunk.

need some help with the cutters and other things...... don't know enough about the 1/2" chain to pick the right file.

40:1 what i got it running on now. it idles very very very slow for a 2 stroke.

1/2" chain will use 1/4" file ... if your Strunk has a Power Products AH-47 engine, 95 PSI is normal compression for them and they're not exactly speedy.

Here's the PP thread here: http://www.arboristsite.com/chainsaw/147859.htm
