I'm pulling the handle heater out of my dysfunctional 038av, and want to install it into my more than functional 034. The 034 model used the same type heater, a coil under the flywheel. The main thing I'm wondering, is if the area around the crankshaft beneath the flywheel on the 034, stock without heater, if it is already drilled out and threaded to accept the coil attachment? I thought someone might know here, and save me the trouble of pulling the flywheel to check. If it isn't already drilled and threaded, I'm going to can the whole idea.

Here is a pic of the area in question, with the coil and attachment ring on the 038.

Thanks.

yes, the crankcase holes are drilled on 034/36 cases, however,... you will need the 034/36 artic flywheel... has generator magnets..
