Where can I find the serial # on my Stihl 056 Mag 2?

STIHL serial numbers are usually engraved (stamped full letters or with a dot matrix pattern) on the top of the case, near the front, on one side of the muffler or the other.

You should be able to see them with the bar, chain, and clutch cover in place, although it may be covered with dirt, oil, sawdust, etc. Take a rag and wipe off any flat surfaces to look.
