help needed, saw leaks gas

Bought my first saw home and having trouble getting her to idle...dies when I pull on the trigger. Wbhen I went to buy it off the older gentleman, I noticed gas leak when he pointed the bar tip down(towards feet).

Thought I needed to clean carb, but maybe the first thing to do is replace fuel lines?

Oh yeah, it's a Homelite xl1 for what its worth.

Most saws need a new fuel line every few years or so. Bet that's your problem.

Could be a cracked tank too. Trace the dripping.

Thanks, I will change fuel line and pray the tank is not cracked.
