Help with 066 chain brake

Well I bought a used 3/4 wrap handle for my flat top 066. It fit up fine. Problem is, it won't let me disengage the chainbrake. It gets in the way. Any way the throw on the chainbrake can be adjusted? Anyone else have this problem?

I believe there is a different chain brake handle that needs to be used with the 3/4 wrap handles. I'm sure someone will chime in with the part number.

Thanks for the reply. The parts list shows 2 chain brakes. I guess I need the other one correct? They look very similar in the diagram.

Looks like you need the 9102 brake handle for clearance. BTW, it's a bear to replace it--perhaps the most unfriendly set of parts controlling this and other brake handles that Stihl ever made. Get your tranquilizers ready.:msp_razz:
