Himalayan Birch - Do I need to prune this tree?

Hi, I have a Himalayan Birch that's about 7 years old. I have never trimmed the tree and just let it grow. If you look at the 2 pictures, you will see many limbs, and leaning over a bit as if the branches need to get thicker. Is this how the tree should look? Do I need to prune it or just continue letting it grow as it is?

so the shape and form of your tree appear to be perfectly normal.

Best not to prune, let it grow. Two recommendations, check root collar for proper planting depth and look into bronze birch border control treatments.
