Need a muffler assembly for a 750 Homelite. Could also use a bottom base plate which connects from the back of the rear handle to the bottom base of the saw.

I believe I have both, if the muffler from a 450 will fit, I can help you out in some part.

It will not. Here are the part numbers

450/550 muffler #A-124411-1D
450/550 Throttle handle base #12346-2A
650/750 Muffler A-12739-1B
650 Throttle handle base #12610-2B
750 Throttle handle base #12610-2C

I have all of the saws 350,450,550,650, and 750. I have not tried swapping parts but by looking at the parts numbers I woulkd say no.

Well, It was worth thinking about. I just dont have the IPLs to cross reference parts with here.

Thanks for the feedback. Sounds like a muffler for 650 or 750 will fit. Any idea where I can find one?

They pop up on ebay once in a while, I got one from member here after looking for a few months. Lot of parts on the 650/750 will interchange on these two saws, like the 350/360 series. Good luck with your search.

The real kicker is that there was a 650/750 Homelite saw that sold on ebay last month for $0.99, Yes $0.99 plus reasonable shipping. I picked up a real rough 1020XP from the seller but never paid attention to what else he had.

0.99?!

I gotta start paying closer attention to the saws on eBayware, although I've been looking for a Homelite 550 parts saw or carb with no luck.

I searched around last night to see if I could find the listing. I not been able to find it. I will keep looking.
