After looking at the oil supply line is seems that both ends are larger than the middle of the hose. Do any homelite owners know if you have to take apart the oil tank to fit the hose in? Its seems like the hole coming out of the oil tank is very small that the ends cannot be pushed thru. The hose would need to be inserted into the halves of the tank and then the tank reassembled. I really don't want to have to disassemble the saw to unbolt the tank. Any help is appreciated.
 
right now i'm trying to lace some bigger od tygon through that small hole but it's a beast without taking the rear handle/carb ass. off. still trying though. i'll try to remember to let ya know how it goes.
