in the oil tank how far down in the tank does the duck bill have to go? I can't get this thing to self oil the chain thanks

Up high on the top by the fill cap port, it does not go into the oil & is a short piece of tubing.

The oil tubing for the screened oil pick up is longer & is the one that sets on the bottom.
