Hi, I'm new and looking for homework help. I need to find out the age expectancy of the Japanese Maple tree for a project. Any links or advice is welcome. Thanks in advance.

What type of Japanese Maple tree?
The Japanese maple is a Acer palmatum.
My info does not say but I do know they are very slow growing and very long lived....depends on how well they are planted and taken care of as to how long they are going to live.

We have one at the JC Raulston Arboretum that is 110 years old, a dissecta.
