I have a geothermal water to air system along with a wood stove in the house and a Hotblast wood furnace in the garage. Has anyone integrated DHW heating into their Hotblast? I get free hot water in the summer off the geothermal unit, but I have been thinking of a way to integrate DHW in the winter via the Hotblast or possibly running through a heat exchanger to heat my geothermal buffer tank. I can heat the house via geothermal water to air with 110 degree water and my buffer tank cannot exceed 150 degrees. I thought about using solenoid valves and setting the hot water heater to priority and then the buffer tank as secondary. The problem is getting the stove to heat the water.
