How do I remove flywheel on 036 Stihl?

What tools do you guys use to remove the flywheel on a Stihl 036?

Stihl has a flywheel remover/puller, and some of the flywheel pullers for modern motorcycles work as well.

The Stihl puller is part number 1110 890 4500. They retail for about $25.

I got one on the bay in the motors area for like 8 bucks. Two sizes in one for different crank sizes.

Look on Ebay for a Puch FW puller.

Paid $8 at my dealer.
Definetly worth all that and then some. Just used it on my 034.

It all depends on where you go. One of the local shops (Stihl dealer) that we used to trade with (We were Husqvarna/Jonsered) had an average of 36% mark-up over list price in the book. Their Stihl business now has pretty much dried up to nothing (they're also a Kawasaki/Echo/John Deere/Kubota dealership.)
