'cos the MS880 is a lot more! (and you can't import them in the USA legally because of safety and emmissions)

The 090 is a GREAT saw, and still made in Brazil.
 
I'm saving that one for a PPE part of a powerpoint.
Good to have an assistant packing water too.

I would really like to know if they are actually still made in Brazil. A lot of people say they are but no one actully comes up with one. Yes I have seen the 070's coming out of there but it has been 2 yeras since any 090's

The last time I looked, there was no 090s listed on any American Stihl websites.
The 070s were listed somewhere.....Mexico I think.

I might be wrong about still being in production, but I "heard" of a guy importing a bunch of new 090 last year broken down into as "parts". Maybe urban legend, but the source was good.
