I’d rebuild it. I think I had to get aftermarket seals for mine. Everything else was available oem.( we did a 346 pc kit) I don’t know what it is with 350 bearings and seals. It seems like half the time someone on here rebuilds one it needs bearings and seals . 340’s & 345’s seem more reliable. Maybe it’s the spaced plate? 346 and the others in the family don’t seem to have the problem either. I don’t think you will have a hard time selling it either.

Most of the plastic is in good shape on this saw and the cylinder piston are on the weaker side of compression at 132psi but not scored or damaged. Leaks air like a sieve everywhere even the decomp valve leaks. What would a rebuilt saw like this go for in the NW US.
Vary limited budget right now 175.00 tops to rebuild. Parts online coming in at 130 with no bar.

It's probably worth $50 or so as is to someone on here. Maybe $75. So, you gotta question whether you can buy $130 worth of parts and sell it for over $180. That's giving away your labor.

Seems like good running 350s go for right around that $200 mark.

Nice dumpster find, and good friend you have. I cannot really comment on whether or not to fix it, as I am new, but personally, I would say do whatever makes you feel good. Tinkering around is good therapy and a great time killer for me.

Well I'm going to go for it I think. I just like making saws run right. 2 stroke in the blood, one could say. and I'm just getting back up and running. think I will go for broke and just have fun with a rebuild.
Parts total on everything not counting labor is 217.00 with parts shipped. Gonna lose some money here but will have a great saw when done.
Thanks guys for the estimates and input.

Better to sell as parts. I have sold three nice ones on Ebarf so far this year with tops of $160. I had more than that in a couple. They are good saws, but people want go any higher. What hurts is companies on Ebarf selling new one as I noticed Husky 440s for $209. Who wants a used saw with new ones that price.
