Well since the search function is still rendered useless......Contemplating porting my 181....does anyone have any good reccomedations for port work on this saw? Its either that or sell the 181 and maybe look for a 390

On my 181 I pulled the base gasket to bump up compression, and went with 156 intake, 116 transfer and 156 exhaust. All measurements in degrees open. I still don't even have a tank of fuel throughout since the rebuild and porting, but it seems very strong.
One could certainly go with more aggressive durations, I just wanted a bit more than stock numbers. I also widened the ports.
