Husky 262,261,61,,,,piston/cylinder interchangable

I have a 261 Husky that needs a cylinder and piston/rings. Does anyone know if the other models like 262, 61...... would interchange and work properly?

I cant say for sure on what will work but 261/262 were basically the same saw. Different carb, muffler, and cylinder porting (epa)? Same family as the 254/257. 61 is a totally different animal.

262 only will fit on your 261.The 61 is another generation of saw,completely different.
