Apart from that, it sounds like your chain need to be sharpend more frequently than you do?

You're right, I always did a few strokes with the file on the 076's chain before it's next use.
But because it felt sharp, seemed to cut as good as ever, I neglected this for I had limited time (3 hours) a day to process the wood into firewood. /My average was about 5-600 kgs of wood per hour./
But today I did it, and also cleaned the saw thoroughly, checked the plug (darker than I would like but it's far from black), etc.
