I have a husqvarna 350 with a scored cylinder. I did not want to stick a lot of money in it so
I bought a hyway kit from the2014-11-22 002 001.JPG 2014-11-22 002 001.JPG 2014-11-22 002 002.JPG 2014-11-22 002 005.JPG 2014-11-22 002 006.JPG weedeater man, this is the 45mm kit that also fits the 353 or the 346. Kit looks very nice. --- But have a question about the impulse hole. --On the 350 cylinder they have a little recessed channel
that runs up the inside of the cylinder for about a 1/4" that feeds the impulse hole. --- On the hyway kit this port is outside the cylinder and it will be covered up with the lower bearing cup. ---I am sure there is a way to make this work. --Is it best to grind a channel in the lower bearing cup, or is there a better way??
--Other that the grinding the bolts a little shorter is there anything else that needs to be done? --- Does the
lower bearing cup interfere with the transfers, looks like it might restrict them? ----Thanks to all.

That "bearing cup" needs to be removed and the mating surfaces flattened, then when you re assemble put the screws in with loc-tite.
File a groove for the impulse.
