You can use a Husqvarna 288 deflector, some fasten them on with screws or rivets, but I find neither hold so I weld them on now. Some weld or braze on a pipe or two.
This is the last one I did, not pretty, but it works. I may end up adding another port, I don't think it flows quite enough.
This is how I’ve been doing the huskies. Deeper less pingy sound and less noticeable by forestry pencil pushers.

If you need to ask I would imagine your looking for an easy mod. The easiest by far is to remove the muffler with the support bracket still attached. Drill 2 holes evenly spaced so it don’t look like **** then pinch a screen in between the support and muffler. Make sure you get all the metal out before reinstalling. Second easiest will be to attach a pre made deflector.
