Husky early model 61

I just picked up a good running early model Husky 61 with a white top. It came with a 16 inch bar and I would like to put a 20 inch bar on. Any recommendations on brand of bar? I see both Oregon and Husky brand at Lowes but wanted to get some feedback from the group before selecting one. Any feedback on these older 61 units? Are they worth upgrading the muffler and larger piston with?

Depends on what you want to spend Tsumura is a little more
And is a excellent bar.

Any 72dl you choose just check and see what gauge your new bar is.
For clean wood I run full chisel for dirty conditions I run semi chisel
To each their own.

I don’t mind a laminated bar on 50cc saws, but I prefer a solid bar on 60cc saws and bigger. Just my preference.

I have the Oregon 20" on my newer husky 61. About 1993ish been happy with it. Just replaced with another one.
