Husqvarna 154se Nylion air filter repair

I have a nylon air filter from a Husky 154se that has a scratch in the nylon mesh material. The strip is on the underside of the filter and it is in a straight line and not cut through...............how would you repair the damaged area?

I'd fix it with a thin coat of somewhat flexible and fuel resistant adhesive, like "Seal All".
