I've got a mix of some 181, 266, 55 and a few other random parts that I'd like to rid of. I'll post prices with the pictures. If you think the price is a little too high then make an offer. Prices do not include shipping. Parts are shipping out from north Idaho. I will start with the 181 parts and move down the list.

181 parts. Some of this stuff will also work on 281's and 288's. Crankcase in in good shape, can detect any play in the crank bearings. Lower con rod bearing looks ok and there is very little play. Crank has some staining. Has some good chain rash on pto side case. SEM coil and triggering unit in good shape. Starter works great and is in great shape. Fuel tank is in good shape, no cracks or leaks.

Crankcase $60
Tank Sold
SEM Coil & Triggering Unit Sold
Starter $40
Flywheel shroud $8

Two 266 crankcases. One on the right has shot crank bearings. The one on left has a wee bit of play in pto side bearing. Con rod on right case has a little bit of play but should be usuable. Con rod on left case has very little play. No cracks or breaks in either. Both tanks are in good shape and don't leak. One is plastic and the other is an old metal tank. Starter is complete and works well. One coil and unit is SEM and the other is Prufrex. Clutch, drum and sprocket are good. One clutch is good to go and the other has some cracks developing in the main hub.

Crankcases $65 each
Plastic tank Sold
Metal tank $50
Clutch Sold
Clutch Drum w/ rim Sold
Starter $40
Flywheel shroud $5
SEM Coil & Unit Sold
Prufrex Coil & Unit $30

Any idea if the 266 coils are good or not?

Which threading on the good clutch?
I tested primary and secondary resistance on all coils/trigger units and all passed. Never mounted them up on my 266 to test voltage though as none of the saws had a history of ignition issues and I feel good about them. However if I end up eating my words and one isn't good I'll refund all moolahs. Clutch is a left hand thread.

Sounds good. I'm interested in some of those parts, especially the coils. I'll check my growing 266 collection and see what may be needed. Might be a couple days, as I'm cutting firewood on my days off.

Also interested in the carb, worm gears, manifold parts, and the 42/242 rotor

I have two 266 cylinders and one 55 cylinder here. Both 266 cylinders are sold. The 55 cylinder has some light transfer around the exhaust but should clean up easily. Pay for shipping and I'll send it.

266 and 181 pistons. Both 181 pistons are A pistons. 266 Mahle piston had some transfer but came off easy. I checked it against a used cylinder and piston to cylinder wall clearance was .0025, which is close to factory new specs. It will need a new ring however. $20
There is one 181 Mahle piston and one KS piston. The Mahle piston is well used and has a piston to cylinder wall clearance of .0055. It's not great but it's usable, I highly recommend getting a new ring for it. $10
The 181 KS dual thin ring piston has some wear but is a little better than the Mahle. Piston to cylinder wall clearance is .0045 and overall in good shape. This came out of a running 181 which had decent compression. $15

Do you happen to have the 61/162 carb still?
