About ready to buy new. Decided to try, one more time, to find a good deal on a slightly used reliable model that pulls a 28" bar through stumps properly.

Have a super ugly rebuild I did. New skf case bearings. New ported eom top end. New seals, clutch cover, 572 top handle, muffler opened up. New OEM clutch. $700 plus shipping. Ugliest saw I ever rebuilt.

Sounds like you did a nicerebuild of a worn out saw.

I hear good things about porting. How much does that typically cost?

More new, than worn out. Old plastic, new guts. Typical woods porting is around $300.

think the 365 is 65cc, standard 372xp is 71cc , and xpw xpg xpgw saws are 75cc, for oe, not sure for n.e. never owned one...have ran them ...........

There is no 65cc 372xp from the factory. That's some made up China BS.

Pretty sure there were also 71cc 372xpw, they had wrap handles and a large cover.

No china parts in that saw and someone else ported it. I don't grind on them, muffler yes, cylinder no.

Whoops, I changed how that was worded slightly, I didn't think that one had chini parts on it.
I don't need to either, plenty of guys who know what they are doing .
