I picked up this 372 off eBay, I’m pretty new to saws but I’ve been looking for a 372 to try my hand at porting and rebuilding with a big bore kit and this was the first one I’ve actually seen pop up in my area.

I believe it’s a 2004 model and is a pre X Torque engine, and the G means that the full wrap handles are heated. The seller claims everything runs great, and I have a month to go over it and return it if I find any issues, but I will be replacing the whole top end eventually.

I ended up paying $600 CAD for it, approximately $475 USD. I haven’t been able to find any in my area in Alberta so hard for me to say what it’s really worth. In your guys opinion, what do you guys think this saw would be worth? Did I get a decent deal or did I overpay? Also are there any glaring issues that you see that I missed? Other than the missing decals it doesn’t look horrible but you guys would know more than I would about these things.

Also anything else you guys could tell me about this model would be greatly appreciated.

I’d say you’re on the high end for an eBay saw, but that’s just my opinion. Have you run it yet?
What part of “berta” u at? Iam in the far northern part.

West of Edmonton but working up in McMurray right now. Heading to Calgary to pick it up on days off, will give it a good once over before I accept it.

Little spendy looking at the condition but what really depends is the hours on it and is it all OEM? You might run a few tanks through it and it blows up. Never know. Don't waste your money on a AM big bore kit. Stay with the OEM parts. An easy way to modify these saws is to toss in a 268xp piston with a pop up cut on it. Do some research, tons of info on the matter and these saws in general.
