The EL-46 version I just did has been flawless so far. If I think of complaints I come up blank. It starts easy, sips fuel, pulls a 20" without a problem, and is easy to run for a few hours. If I cut for a living I'm sure all day would not be a problem.

My thoughts exactly.

My 562 has an el48, I bought completely blown up. Both bearings were in pieces, piston scored and even the sproket was broken.

Rebuilt it and decided to try it a bit before I sold it. I KNEW i wouldn't like it.

After 1 day, 4 hours and a couple truck loads of firewood I was sold on the saw..

562xp is an incredible saw. In 20" and under wood its the only saw I need.
