570 builder for sale. this saw ran great when i got it but died abruptly. i diagnosed it as the flywheel side main bearing cage came apart and the bearing piled up. it then ate the seal which was what killed it. it appears to have not hurt the top end though. i'm pretty certain i have a 6202 around and a seal. case gasket from the dealer and a bit of your time makes you a good running 70cc saw. sat in a shed for sometime so not the prettiest thing. top end and carb has some light corrosion on it but it all worked. i even pulled the carb to check make sure it was healthy inside which it is. Chip in clutch cover and one top cover clip was broken so i just removed it. very easy part to put on. muffler is from another saw and already modded with a removable screen pipe port. i would run 2 gaskets and a washer behind each case bolt to space the muffler out a bit as the pipe just touches the brake handle on this saw. cleared the 575 brake flag it was on though which is strange. $300 shipped for this saw. Any other specific pics needed just let me know.

forgot to mention that i have pulled the flywheel side seal and that is how i found out about the bearing. PTO bearing is the expensive one and is tight. flywheel side was just a cage failure. i would replace just the flywheel side and run it. PTO bearing will be fine. i'd do it but just trying to clean out the shop before i got back to work.

If someone was interested I'd let both these saws go for $900 shipped. Get one good running ported 576 and a parts saw or fix the parts saw to have 2. Just another option.

Well guys, this saw is no longer a project. Gonna leave this ad up and run some fuel through it. Price will change.

What's the new price?

i'm thinking $500 shipped but i definitely want to run a few tanks through it before i sell it. bottom end is tight and smooth now. i also cut an .010 gasket to tighten up squish to .024. i'll put some fuel through it tomorrow.

forgot to mention i also clearanced the muffler and cleaned carbon from the exhaust port and combustion chamber. ready to cut wood. found a top cover clip in my parts bins too.
