Found a 575 for $125, owner says it runs great. Looks decent besides a cracked side cover. Thinking I should just get it for the price and fix it up if needed. What's the difference between the 575 and the 575XP model? Are the side covers on Husqvarna's plastic? Have only ran stihls and may turn another shade of orange :msp_biggrin: .

Have heard good things about the saw besides the weight factor, which isn't an issue. How's the parts availability for this saw?

Thanks for the help

There wasn't a 575 that wasn't an xp, but there was a 570 with a smaller top end.

Parts should not be a problem.

K thanks, also heard there have been Main bearing or crank bearing issues with this model. Can anyone shine some light on this and how difficult is it to replace them?
Have moderate 2 stroke knowledge from rebuilding dirtbike top ends and seals, but that's about it.

Cheers
