Marketing is key!

Which sell for more: the 'Huskvarna's with a 'K', or the 'Husqvarna's with a 'Q'? Just curious.

How about when 'Jonsered' is 'Jonsereds'; is that plural (multiple saws) or possessive (still belongs to the Jonsered family)?

It would be an interesting study to find out if/how much grammar and spelling affect the sale price of different items.

For our grammer and marketing students.

Marketing is the ability to sell someone something they dont really need.

The key is to convince them they need it and then reduce their bank account and build yours
only in turn to buy more things you dont need and sell them at a profit.

The word consume or consumer, consuming are synonymous with the term devour.

Older Jonsereds are just that, Jonsereds with an s, at some point they dropped the s, and newer ones are only Jonsereds if in groups of more than one.

SawTroll can clarify if need be. He probably knows where they stored all the unused letter s (es?).

So what's the correct taxonomy? A 'Loop' of Jonsereds? A 'Brace'? A 'Clutch'? A 'GTG' of Jonsereds? How many Jonsereds in a face cord?

(In parts of East Dakota, here, they still call them 'Jonserudes').

I am trying hard not to buy one, no matter how its labeled, although it sometimes pays to look for misspellings if you are a buyer I have found.

If you can't spell the name or item correctly, you may not know what its worth. And if you don't care how its spelled and think you know what its worth, it gets entertaining at times.

Also, I think the misspelled ones on fleabay often don't get bid up as high because people searching for a particular saw often won't find it if it is misspelled. Can lead to a lower price.

they are very nice vehicles but way out of my price range. 95 Ford escort station wagons are the only thing I can afford to collect, manual trans and over 250k miles:msp_sleep::msp_sleep:

Don't go knocking the "scort" man.......... Got two 93 wagons and I plan to always keep at least one around here. I just built a 97 2.0L split port engine to replace the 1.9 in my 5spd.

I believe any collection of more than one saw, regardless of brand, is properly referred to as a cad.

Usage: "There's 20 to 40 saws in my cad, but I ain't never sure exactly how many any more."

Yes I agree with the China sentiment. Problem is if you order a bunch you can get them for around $200 a unit, I found a Chinese 070 locally and the guy was honest about it, said he would get rid of it for $400 to recoup his costs and he only ordered 1.

I have a freind who has purchased a bunch of the china 070's. Since there are different factorys building them there are
a variety of qualitys in them.

He said some were decent and others were almost junk from new.

If you go to Baileys online I think you can buy all the parts to build one from scratch.

Dont know where Baileys gets their parts from but a few years back they were going to offer turn key 070's but ran into some legal problems.
