As Stihl doesn't currently offer the Old Style tanks, this one has a MS440 tank.


There is a guy with connections trying to get Stihl to do a run of 044 tanks; we'll see.

Fred Sanford hooked me up with minty cases, the Crank, the Cylinder, and the correct Flywheel.

I bought this one yesterday. It is pretty close.



Whole lot better looking than my other 10mm 044. Ser. #'s start 1254xxxx and 1252xxxx. Don't let the looks fool you it is a strong saw comp. is 178.

Probably as close to new as I will ever find

I'm thinking about running that saw in wood this weekend a Lil, there is a Charity Cut out here in CO on Saturday I'm considering putting a tank or so threw it
