I have purchased a colonnade apple tree. I am unable to find any information regarding the way to grow it I also can not find any information on how big the apples on the tree get. If you know any site that would be helpful or have any information regarding this type of tree, i would greatly appreciate it. Thank you. Kelly

Mike Burst is the resident expert on apples here I think that is his site. Let him know we sent you.

He comes through from time to time so you might just need to wait a while.

My take on it is that it is a narrow upright form (hence the name) and branch whorls should be pruned so that the branches are alternating going up the stem so fruit get light.

the rest is typical apple orchard work, hand thin heach group of fruit so one is lef. best time is when they are dime sized.....

One way to learn is to get a partime job at an orchard for a season.
