Hi - just an introduction. I am John, and live in Surrey in England UK. My father owned a Pioneer Farmsaw (1979 model) which is now in my possession, as he has, sadly, passed away. I have no idea where he purchased this from, but googling details on the Farmsaw, it seems there is very little information the UK - but, as it was made in Canada, lots of information in the States and Canada. I got the chainsaw running, but the muffler was pretty bent and split, so have found a second hand item ion US Ebay, which is currently in transit to the UK..! After I ordered the muffler I subsequently found the bolt to the chain tensioner is missing, and of course different thread patterns in Canada/States than the UK (Unified Thread Standard - UTS..? as opposed to BSP or metric in the UK)!! I'm currently trying to source a replacement UTS bolt, hopefully in the UK..!
