Hee he he.........Ok now back on topic :D

Pulled saw apart as far as I could.....No clutch tool :bang: will run by
dealer this week......fly wheel side crank beaning bad also.
Good news, cyl looks ok and no stripped or broken out holes :D
Looks as if crank case, muffler and lower part of back handle
has been replaced at some time.......If I can get rebuilt for less
than $200, if it's more than that............ebay parts

Yep.. shes's no virgin...

Who cares what it costs.. you can't put a price on the experience.. hmmm...

That clutch might be a PITA... I use a special clutch tool consisiting of the old stihl tool (useless) welded to a socket... Soak some penetrating oil on the crank/clutch for 24 hours...

Clutch and Cylinder off

Pulled clutch and Cylinder off tonight, I pulled the clutch shoes
off then got the big idea, used AR/M16 barrel wrench to loosen
clutch hub  . Piston is after market, checked ring gap .040
Not going to get by with a $200 rebuild......big end rod bearing
has play :bang:

OK, why would the inside of the crank case and crank be dry?
Its like its been washed clean and dried, crank even has fresh
looking little rust spots, saw has not been running in years I
was told. I did have it running and made 2 cuts with bar buried
and started 3 times the next day, crank bearings looked
very clean but also dry

Good news, Clyinder looks good to me, light hone and it should be good
and no broken or stripped out bolt holes
