After 20 years it was ready for some maintenance. After 20 years, it got an oil change and the air filter got blown out. My 10hp Troy-Bilt 5500W electric generator finally got some attention. No real reason, as I only use it an hour or 2 a year. Electricity is pretty reliable here, and when it goes out after 4 or more hour I'll start it up for 20 or 30 minutes. Once, some bone-head ran into a power pole and the power was out for a day and a 1/2, but that is worst case.
Oil was a bit gray looking, air cleaner looked new, and I didn't touch the spark plug.
A good investment for when I need it, tis nice to have.
