John s barnes pump

Hi I,m new here need some advice I,ve just bought a home made splitter with a barnes pump numbers are 1/86 1001461 any ideas on the gpm ,the age and are parts available thanks in advance for any advice. Spike

Model numbers on the pumps often vary depending on the seller. The info you gave would possibly indicate Jan, 1986 for a manufacture date. Log splitter pumps are considered non-rebuildable. The two most common pumps on log splitters 2-stage 11 gpm with 5.5 - 6 hp. engine or 16 gpm with a 8 hp engine.
Attached are specs for Barnes 2-stage pumps, body lenght are different for some of the pumps.
