Was wanting to remove the flywheel from a Jonsered 361. It has two blind holes that don't have threads. Are there any tricks to remove it? I though about tapping the holes and using a puller but the holes are pretty small so I don't know if the bolts will have enough bite to remove the flywheel if it wants to be stubborn.

Well, it turned out to be pretty easy to remove. After looking it over for a while, I removed the carb which allowed me to get access to the back of the flywheel and used a dead-blow soft-faced hammer to tap it off.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. The saw that I started with was virtually new but missing the bar and clutch cover. The parts saw that I bought turns out to be almost as good. If I decide to have two complete saws, I may be contacting you.
