My 49sp stopped running, no spark. Checked stop switch, ohms out good. Disconnected stop switch, still no spark. Inspected points, look good. Disconnected points and condenser from coil, ohmed out coil reads 8.1K ohms. I suspect the coil is bad.
Does this make sense that the coil is bad?
If not, any suggestions to further diagnose what is wrong?
If the coil is bad, anybody know where I can get a replacement - new, used, or electronic equivalent? :msp_confused:
